Story of The Honest Woodcutter in English: The story of the honest woodcutter is one of the oldest. Once upon a time. A woodcutter lived in a village somewhere far away. He would cut the girl in the forest all day and earn some money by selling that wood in the market in the evening. He was quite happy with his life. He can earn only that much money, in which he can feed himself and his family members.

That's why he used to be very happy. upon a time. When the woodcutter was cutting a tree in the forest. That tree was present on the bank of a river. While chopping the tree, his ax fell into the river. After this he became very disappointed. He could not understand what to do. Now he didn't even have the money to buy a new ax from the market.

Thinking all this, he started crying sitting on the bank of the river. He had just cried for a while, when a bright light came out of the river and started coming. Shortly after, an angel was standing outside the river. He asked, hey! man what have you done why are you crying

Seeing this sight, the woodcutter was filled with wonder. Then he said, hey! Devi I am a woodcutter and when I was cutting trees. That's why my ax fell from my hand in this river. Now I don't have money to buy a new ax and with this my only support for life was my axe.

I used to cut the girl with that ax throughout the day and in the evening I used to earn some money by selling that girl in the market. After saying this he became paralyzed and started crying. On this Devi said, you stop crying. I will definitely find your axe. After saying this the angel disappeared from there. After some time that angel came again.

He had an ax in his hand. This ax was made of gold. Told that angel, hey! Man, here is your axe. After seeing the axe, the woodcutter said, I am sorry but this ax is not mine. After that the shift disappeared again.

It was only a matter of time that the angel came again with an axe. This ax was made of silver. The fairy said to the woodcutter, is this your axe? Again the woodcutter said no this is not my axe. My ax is made of iron. After that the angel disappeared again.

After some time that angel came again. This time the angel had an ax in his hand. This ax was made of iron. This time the woodcutter started swinging happily after seeing his axe. He said loudly, yes this is my axe.

Then the woodcutter took his ax and thanked the innings profusely. The fairy became very happy after seeing the honesty of the woodcutter. So he gave two more axes to the woodcutter. One ax was made of gold and the other was made of silver.
