Karma Story in English with Moral

A long time ago, there lived a farmer named Ram in a small village. Ram was poor, but he was satisfied with his deeds. He toiled in his field every day and took whatever he produced and went to sell it in the market. He was survived by his wife Geeta and a young son Ramu. Ram and his family may have been living in poverty, but there was happiness and contentment in their lives.

Next to Ram's farm was another big farm, which belonged to a wealthy landowner. The name of that landowner was Dharamvir Singh. Dharamveer Singh was very rich, but he was full of pride and cruelty. He always tried to humiliate others with his money. The people of the village were afraid of him, because he used to harass them by misusing his power.

Shiva always valued his deeds and never envied anyone. He was busy with his work and was always ready to help everyone. But Dharamveer Singh's eyes were always on Ram's farm. Ram's farm may have been small, but the crops grown in it were very good. Dharamveer Singh did not like this prosperity of Ram. He threatened Ram several times and tried to buy his farm from him, but Ram flatly refused. Ram said that the farm was the legacy of his ancestors and he would not sell it at any cost.

Dharamveer Singh felt very bad about this and he decided to teach Ram a lesson. He sent his men and deliberately left the animals in Rama's field, so that his crop would be ruined. When Shiva saw this, he was heartbroken. The crop he had grown with a year's hard work was destroyed in a single night. She had tears in her eyes, but she did not oppose Dharamveer Singh. He understood that this is the work of Dharamvir Singh.

Rama prayed to God and said, "Oh Lord, I have not done bad to anyone. I have always been doing my work honestly. I only pray to you to rescue me from this crisis. Rama's patience and faith did not let him lose. He toiled again in his field the next year, but this time the crop was very less. The people of the village were sad to see his condition, but no one could dare to stand against Dharamveer Singh.

Here, Dharamveer Singh had no regrets about his actions. He thought he had taught Ram a lesson and would buy his farm. But Ram still did not give up. He sought help from other farmers in the village and gradually re-fertilized his farm.

Time passed, and a day came when Dharamvir Singh had to suffer the consequences of his deeds. That year there was a severe flood in the village. Dharamveer Singh's large fields were hit by the flood and all the crops were destroyed. A large part of his property was also washed away in the floods. The wealth and power he boasted of were all destroyed in an instant. On the other hand, Ram's small farm, which was on the higher ground of the village, escaped the floods. Shiva harvested a very good crop that year and was able to earn a lot of money by selling it.

Dharamvir Singh was now poor. The people of the village, who had once feared him, now began to look at him with contempt. But Rama did not give up his kindness and sympathy even in this difficult time. He went to Dharamveer Singh and offered his help. "Whatever happened, it was God's will. I've always learned that we should help others, no matter what the circumstances. ”

Dharamveer Singh regretted his actions. She apologized to Rama and said, "I did a lot of bad things to you, but you still forgave me and came to help me. You're really great. Now I understand that everyone ultimately has to bear the fruits of karma. ”

Ram consoled Dharamveer Singh and said, "We should focus on our deeds, for they shape our future. Whoever does what he does, so will he reap the fruit. If we do good deeds, we will get a good result, and if we do bad actions, the result will also be bad. ”

Dharamveer Singh learnt from his mistakes and decided to change his life. He donated all his remaining wealth and spent his life helping the poor. He considered Rama as his true friend and always followed his advice.

This was a great example for the people of the village that how the fruits of actions are definitely received. He admired Ram's patience and truthfulness and drew inspiration from the change in Dharamveer Singh's life. Gradually, everyone in the village started walking on the path of honesty and benevolence.

Ram and his family were now #NAME? a happy and prosperous life. He also gave good values to his son and taught him that one should always follow the path of truth and righteousness in life.
